The alpha female would look rather odd where she was, rolled over on her back at an obserd angle, her body contorted slightly as she attempted to scratch an insatiable itch on her back. Her jaws were parted and her tongue lolled freely, chrome hues squinted slightly as the smell of sweet summer grass filled her nostrils. The day was clear and calm, the perfect lazy day for an admittedly lazy alphaess.
((18:13)) * %Ammorez had returned to the clearing for a short trip around the perimeter. It was a slow day today so it was a good day to travel around. Take note of anything that seemed out of ordinary. Nothing was found of course, nothing that seemed to be of any threat, so she decided to take her leave back to the clearing. Once getting there, she would chuff quietly, alerting all those who were around, of her pressence.

The thundering continues to roar and in the distance, a dust cloud is rising higher and higher and growing thicker by the moment. Suddenly, its obvious. A stampeed!!! Hundreds of elk are barreling over the hillside. THe first handful can now be seen. They are coming right toward the Hollow!!! ::
((19:58)) * @Saigh felt the vibrations on her paws as she looked upward, seeing no signs of the infamous metal bird. She was really having flashbacks at this point, her hear thundering against the walls of her chest in a desperate attempt to flee though she stood her ground. As she looked about the horizons she noticed a cloud of dust and squintd slightly tryng to get a better look. It hit her just before she saw the first Elk. "Stampeed!!! Stampeed!!! Everyone get out of the way!!!!!" she yelled, turning to Ammorez and Adal Get everyone to the mountain's base, they will circle the hollow to head back to the forest. GO! NOW!" she demanded of the sentry and former sentry before running back into the hollow, toward the stampeed to find anyone else who may be caught.

She lifted her muzzle towards the skies and casted a loud warning howl into the air before taking off towards the left gathering up the wolves she could. "Get moving. Now!" She barked towards her pack members. Running as fast as she could. She would make sure everyone is out of the clearing before leaving herself.

While he was a Sentry in training, Saigh had been right to go ahead and give the more senior members this one. Heading in the same direction as Adal to be sure she would be alright, he saw this as an opportunity to show his skills a wee bit. "A-Adal!" Calling after her as he followed, he was sure to keep on

((20:16)) * %Otsoko <cont> moving forward despite the numbness that ran through his body, mainly because of the shock that replaced his lazy antics. Stopping midway, he turned to the mountain base and then back to Adal before tearing away from her and heading with the others, his legs nearly coming out from under him as he ran.
((20:17)) <@Saigh> :: The bulk of the herd was now flooding into the Hollow, The thunder of hoofbeats is deafening. They pool into the Rock Valley, many stumbling as they go, causing multiple creatures to fall. Others continue to run, until they are flush against the mountainside. With no where left to turn, they make a u-turn and continue to flee out the other side of the valley. The ocean of hooves and antlers seems to be never ending :: 
((20:17)) * @Saigh had made her way through the hollow, looking for others. As she found various wolves she would guide them through the thundering hooves toward the safety of nearby dens or one of the many rocky ledges that lined the hollow. Many times she had to dodge not only hoof and horn but allso whole Elk as the clumbsy beasts stumbled all over each other in their panic. She had finally cleared as many wolves as she could from the stampeed path, in the distance she could hear Ammorez and snarled, She started making her way back toward her voice when she lept a bit too soon and an elk ran square into her. Thankfully she avoided its hooves as it lept over her frame that fell before it. The wind knocked out of her and pain searing through her body she gasped for air, her vision blinking in and out as all the sounds around her seemed to become muffled.
((20:20)) * %Agro saw the dust cloud a split second before Saigh's yell confirmed what it was. The sight of the first few elk had his hackles all the way up and his eyes widen in panic but he got his paws into gear and bolted after Valdis toward the mountains. He had to hope everyone got there safely. There couldn't be time to save someone with the speed those beasts were going.

His midnight ears pricked, listening to the sounds of the massive herd still coming his 
((20:27)) * Xiodax way. That is when his golden gaze lands upon a she-wolf that was knocked to the ground. He could not very well let her get hurt; after all, the stampede of elk was because of him. He easily darted over to her, dodging another elk that ran past him, and he lowered his bloody muzzle to her scruff and gently bit her. Then the large male started dragging the unknown she-wolf to safety, away from

With a snarl, the male lunged at a nearby elk and took it down in one...or two easy blows, blood spurting all over the ground as he tore his teeth into its jugular. After he couldn't help but lift his head, narrowing his eyes at the events unfolding before him, making sure to stay out of hoof-range.

The scrawny brute lept upon the elk and dug his fangs into its gut and shook his head violently, gore pooling between his fangs and dribbling onto the earth as the creature took its last few breaths. He looked up, like a pup who 
((20:52)) * Azzrael had done something well and looking for praise, but his ears fell back gainst his head.... the dust was settling and amongst it he could have sworn he smelt.... wolves..... another pack. His heart sank... did they just.... His entire posture fell to its normal Omega status and he slunk forward toward where his alpha had pulled a body to. At first he thought it was a young elk but then he saw

((20:52)) <@Saigh> :: Dust rises all around the Hollow, the dry summer days making the fine dust nearly suffocating and dense as fog, making for highly reduced visiblity. The sound of hoofbeats begins to decrease as the last few beasts flood the hollow and run the course the others had over the now dishevled landscape. It seems to take forever but finally the hoofbeats are long gone and the dust begins to settle. :: 
((20:52)) * @Saigh 's head pounded viciously, she faintly felt the pressure of someting on her neck an the feeling of the gravel shifting beneath her frame. She was not at all aware of Xiodex, only a drumming in her ears and the fact that she was practically going to start choaking on dust. Finally, just when she thought she might pass out, she felt her lungs force air into them which stung badly and she coughed, while flailing wildly trying to get her paws beneath her so she didnt get trampled. She shifted and teetered dangerously on her paws as she snarled, her charcoal smudged muzzle wrinkling as her eyes looked toward Xiodex. She growled wonderign why she was surrounded by dark wolves but slowly they became merging into each other until only one stood before her. "Which way did they go.. Where did they... Who are you?"  she stammered, unable to hold onto a thought.

His dark tail swished lightly, his nostrils flaring as he breathed in the scents surrounding them. It was a bit

"This is our Omega, Azzrael," he would say and incline his head towards the scrawny male that had approached them. Then his ears pricked towards her. ((21:34)) * Kaia was back to running. His comrades were doing fine so it seemed, not that he thought they'd have any issues anyway...they were all exceptionally stubborn. It wasn't until he spotted a she-wolf in distress that he started to slow again. Noticing his alpha's antics, it definitely wouldn't be proper to have any strangers get caught in the midst of their activities. The male picked up the pace, his paws pounding along with the thundering
((21:34)) * Kaia >> of the elk's hooves and he lunged for the wolf's form, basically rolling her out of the way and shielding her body with his own from the impending potential-death. And there he stood, body crouched and tensed, bracing for impact that didn't come until the tremors started to gradually ebb away from the clearing. Well hopefully this small inconvenience didn't cost them a lot of meal time...And that was his only thought

((21:42)) * Wreyn would watch the Alpha brute take off for a female trap in the mist of all things before spotting Kaia, following suit. He shook his head and continued to chase after the elk until all of them were out of the clearing. He snorted a bit as he figured that their meal was just sabotaged by females no less.When the last speck of dust settled, he turned back and head for his Alpha and Beta.

At the mention of his name he risked looking up and nodding to the Silver pelted female before downcasting his eyes once more and mumbling "We didnt know... We were just hungry..."

((21:44)) * @Saigh 's head swam, her vision fluttered and slowly she was able to breath better and better but it was not going to be suprising if she woke up stiff as a tree branch by the next morning. She winced as she moved each limb in turn making sure nothing appeared to be broken. When he spoke she wanted desperately to tell him to stop yelling butshe realized that the loud noise wasnt his voice...

Alpha of Kladd`atir. What the hell just happ..." she was going to ask but then she heard the mutterings from the little red colored brute that had been introduced as an Omega. She creased her eyebrows in confusion before 
((21:44)) * @Saigh finally making two and two equal four. "You... You caused this!?" She stumbled again slightly as she attempted to take a step forward. "What the hell were you thinking?! My family lives here you inconciderate furball!!!" ... yup Saigh had lost it. Normally she was much more well... poised but between pain, anger and a bit of delerium from the bonk she took to the head - proper manners

((21:46)) * %Ammorez was about call out for her Alpha again when she suddenly felt this brace of impact coming from another. She was so confused that she couldn't get up right away. But once the dust had settled and she finally reclaim her conscious, she starred up at the the wolf who was now standing over her like a shield. She grumbled and shook her head some. "What in the world..." She grumbled and slowly rose to her paws to look up at the brute.

((21:51)) <%Ammorez> A sudden rage of anger over-came the female as she suddenly realized what happen. She got up into the males face to where they were pretty much nose tipping. "WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE. WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!?" She asked with anger obviously in her tone. Loud.. Obvious anger. 
((21:52)) * %Adalwolfa Had waited for as long as she could the herd had moved on leaving a wake of destruction behind. Sighing she turned and stepped down from the stone. Now standing Adal lifted her head and gave a short sharp toned howl followed by three chuffs. She faced forward again lifting her tail she took lead . " Everyone lets move. The herd should be gone now and we need to find others and Saigh 
((21:52)) * %Adalwolfa and Ammo. Stay close ." She spoke in a ancient sound like voice. Adal soon entered a lope and knew none had not listened to her words . Determination could be seen in her darkened honey eyes as her ebony form moved with a new pressing important purpose.
((21:57)) * Valdis could feel the shear pain in his wound now since his adrenaline rush was over for now at least but the sharp pain made the wolf cringe , He followed Adal through the crowd of other wolves but the male moved forward even if the pain was getting worse the more he moved. It was atop his shoulder blade near his neck , At least three inches wide and two deep but it felt like five. Drawing his lip back in a savaged snarl, Valdis deeply growl

((21:59)) * Valdis as he was not very pleased with the way this day had turned out. Not pleased at all. His attitude was now hostile and snappy, Not a good combination for this male ; No one here has seen him aggressive before. Perhaps today will be interesting. 
((22:07)) * %Agro waited with bated breath. He wouldn't move until it was safe. He wouldn't, because he was totally a smart wolf...at least 98.4% of the time. When Adal spoke again he practically burst forward the second she said to go back. He first saw Valdis and then the others...though nobody seemed to be broken, he still felt the need to check.
((22:07)) * %Agro >> Except Ammorez. She'd probably eat him. But from the scene in front of him, he suddenly felt the urge to snarl at the strange wolves. They didn't look right to him, especially since they'd appeared after a stampede just trampled their home. That, and both females were yelling at separated wolves. The male made a loud, frustrated sound, his ears flattening defensively.
((22:17)) * Xiodax 's golden gaze took an appreciative look at the female Alpha, ignoring his Omega for the moment. He tilted his head as the she-wolf became suddenly more aggressive towards him, but it was completely understandable in her situation. In fact, he rather approved of her spirit, though perhaps he would not say so out loud. After all, they had just completed their hunt on another's territory, 
((22:17)) * Xiodax though he did not feel threatened in the slightest, even with the other wolves heading their way. Calmly, he answered her questions, as if answering a young pup that had suddenly thrown a tantrum: "I do apologize for the trouble we have caused. We were unaware we were so close to another pack, and, you know that once a herd starts running, you must follow. We will stay, and assist in any way, 
((22:17)) * Xiodax and we will share our kills with you. We have taken down more than enough for ourselves, and others were simply trampled over their herdmates into this dense location of yours." A smirk teased at his muzzle. "Alpha Saigh, it is this inconsiderate furball that just saved your furry tail from being trampled. However, we will stay and help where we can. Perhaps we can even hunt together." The male 
((22:17)) * Xiodax sat upon his haunches, not in the least bit intimidated by Saigh or by the other wolves fast approaching. The wolves of Kladdatir might outnumber Lunakai, but Lunakai were all males, and Xiodax for his part could be diplomatic. For now.

((22:25)) * @Saigh was made even more furious by Xiodex's seemingly dismissive demeanor. When he so eloquantly put that he was sorry and it was unintentional and that he and his wolves would help them out as much as they could and even offered to share their kills she grumbled, her chrome hues shut for a moment as her vision continued to swim. When she opened them she sneered a the brute I think you've done enough. Thank though. she said, venom in her tone. Her head hurt so badly she had no tolerance left. She turned and saw her pack approaching and sighed a huge pack of relief. Despite the situation, it seemed everyne had come out relatively unscathed. She looked back to him and just shook her head. "Saved me from being trampled by the Stampeed you caused. Gee thanks." she snarled before shaking her head. "Fine. Stay, but try not to kill us again hum?" she said distastefully as she turned her back on him dismissively. Sure in the morning she would likely reapproach him in a much more professional way but as for now her options were either go lay down and rest, or rip his head off and mount it in her den as a decoration. She turned and hobbled her pained self back to the den after makng sure everyone was alright. Hopefully that was the end of the days festivities.
