Kladd`atir is the continuation, renewl and rebirth of a former pack known as EarthenSong. Originally founded in 2007 by Kivak and Hinaezuu Atradico, who had invisioned a home for themselves and for their soon to be expanding family. Settling down in Denali National Park, and claiming a large expance of territory.
In 2012, Kivak and Hinaezuu stepped down and passed the torch onto the next generation of alphas, Kazmarez and Azamakaios. Sadly, Azamakaios' reign was short lived as she passed away in early 2013. However The pack remained prosperous under the leadership of Kazmarez until unforseen circumstances lead to the decimation of the pack. In a perfect storm of events; an unseasonably hot summer forced prey to leave the territory or die of starvation as the heat dried out the foliage. Finally, a storm brought lightning down which set the territory ablaze. The pack scattered and only a few remained together. Forced from the territory and with over half of its members gone. It was decided that Earthensong was no more.
Those who managed to stick together during the blaze, and catch up to the group after, moved on from their former territory in search of somewhere new to call home. The fire may have destroyed their clearing, but it had forged bonds of steel between the wolves it effected. After weeks of searching, the pack finally settled in a new home and decided that with this fresh, new start for its pack, it would choose a new name for itself. Kladd`atir, derived from the celtic symbol the Claddagh, which stands for Love, Loyalty and Friendship and the word Mac`tir, meaning wolf. Literally translating to "Family of Wolves." Symbolizing the very entity of what they wanted to be. A Family.
February 2014 brought much excitement to the pack, as the alpha and beta females both produced a litter of puppies, the first of the Kladd'atir's new generation. Overcome with joy, it was quite a blow in late April, when the pack was selected to become the targets of a research study and were tranquilized and humanely transported to their new home in Glacier National Park and released with the highest ranking wolves being tagged with radio collars so that they might track their location and activities. It was a great ordeal for the pack to go through, as some of the members, and even some of the pups were not relocated with the rest of the pack. This took its toll on many members, driving them to seperate from the pack to seek out lost friends and family. Despite this setback, as they had from the beginning, Kladd`atir prevailed and slowly as the months wore on, came to accept their new home and settle down once more.
